About applications and websites

The majority of Texas legislative information is available online. Because online resources can be updated continually, they often are the most reliable sources for up-to-date information relating to recent legislative activity. Legislators and legislative staff have access to legislative information through Capitol Complex network applications and legislative intranet and Internet applications and websites. Members of the public can access most of the same information through the legislature’s Internet sites or through public access terminals located in the denotes link to another GTLI pageLegislative Reference Library.

The websites of state agencies also can be important sources of legislative information. In addition, the Texas Legislative Council provides a listing of useful Internet sites for legislative research on the legislative intranet site Legislative Research on the Web.
